Trintech Group provides transaction process management software (ReconNET) to retailers and other businesses who use it to reconcile banking records and cash deposits with their point-of-sale transaction records. Financial services providers and other large firms use its AssureNET system to manage general ledger account reconciliation. The company also offers modules for compliance, risk management, and financial reporting functions. Its more than 600 clients include Intel, Google, Wal-Mart, and Microsoft. In 2011 Trintech was acquired from founder, CEO, and part-owner Cyril McGuire, and taken private by US private equity firm Spectrum Equity.
